WE WORK THROUGH IT WITH YOU

Your operation.
Your overhead.
Your estimate.

A useful estimate needs more than quantities. We take time to understand how your company prices and performs the work, then identify the assumptions that need your input.

  1. 01

Send the project and the deadline.

Start with the plans, specifications, addenda and scope you have. Tell us where you need help.

  2. 02

Agree on the work before we start.

We review the assignment together and confirm scope, consulting fee and turnaround for that project.

  3. 03

    Build around your business inputs.

Your labor basis, overhead, supplier quotes and historical prices guide the estimate. Unknowns become questions to resolve.

  4. 04

Review first. Brand the final package.

You review the estimate and retain control of your final bid. After acceptance, we can add your company’s logo and presentation style.

A PACKAGE YOU CAN WORK WITH

Clear enough to review.
Detailed enough to discuss.

Deliverables are selected for the assignment. They may include:

  • Electrical scope and quantity takeoff
  • Labor and material breakdowns
  • Assumptions, exclusions and scope questions
  • Proposal draft and add alternates
  • Your contractor-branded final package
BEFORE WE GET STARTED

A few practical questions.

Do I need all my costs figured out first?

Bring what you have. We can discuss which labor rates, overhead allocations, historical bids or supplier quotes would help. Unconfirmed inputs remain questions until we agree on their basis.

How much does estimating support cost?

The fee depends on the project scope, document set, deadline and requested deliverables. We review the assignment and agree on the consulting fee and turnaround before work begins.

Can the final package use our company branding?

Yes. We work through the estimate with you first. After you accept it, we can add your company’s logo and branding to the final package.

How do I send a project?

Call or email Dan to discuss the scope and deadline. We’ll agree on the document handoff for that project. The secure workspace is currently reserved for the estimating team.
